What an incredibly inspiring (and *brave*) fellow you are-to be able to face such a big life event with humor and fortitude. And what an exceptional writer, too! In Buddhism we have a practice called Tonglen, whereby we breathe in the pain or difficulty that someone is going through (to ease their burden) and breathe out happiness, joy and/or for them to be relieved of their pain. It’s one of the practices that is used to cultivate compassion and it’s super awesome. Good for all peoples and I shall include you in my humble little practice.
